1. What is the difference between a timber frame and truss?
In building construction, a trusses are sections of roof framing. The walls, top plates, and bottom plates are frames. Generally speaking, trusses have a top chord, a bottom chord, and intermediate members. These are usually on diagonals to form triangles, which gives the trusses component strength. Frames can simply consist of a bottom, top, and two sides. It’s like a picture frame, but in framing construction, it is a supporting structure. They can be built with wood or light gauge metal studs. Equally, they can be columns and beams. Our timber frames and trusses can be delivered all across the Central Coast, Gosford, Newcastle and Northern Sydney.

2. Do you offer a warranty period on your timber frames and trusses?
All of our timbers are certified. We also offer a design certificate for all our frames and trusses.

3. Can I use the spans in the timber trusses for storage?

4. Can I support solar or pool hot water systems on the roof ?
Size, capacity and position need to be discussed with us prior to fabrication. It needs to be taken into account at the design stage. Nothing is Impossible! 5. What areas in Newcastle do you service and deliver to ?
